Elegant portrait of a boy made at the beginning of the 19th century by George ENGLEHEART (1750-1829).

Engleheart was one of the greatest English painters of miniature portraits and a contemporary of Richard Cosway, John Smart, William Wood and Richard Crosse.

The object is made even more precious by the beautiful medallion which, on the back, keeps the hair perfectly intertwined and preserved.
