One of the most beautiful miniatures from the production of Antoine-Paul Vincent (born in Paris, active between 1798 and 1817), signed lower left. This painting is quoted, edited and praised by Leo Schidlof in various publications.
Rare portrait of a young woman covering her breasts with a richly embroidered white cashmere shawl. The miniature is signed and dated on the left: “Fecit 1815 Sophia Giordano”. Sofia Giordano, a very talented portraitist, was born in Turin around 1779 and died there on May 14th 1829.
Portrait of Emmanuel-Armand de Vignerot du Plessis-Richelieu (1761.1800), Duke of Aiguillon, Peer of France (1740), Count of Agénois and Condomois then Duke of Agénois and Duke of Aiguillon, was a military man and french statesman.
